Gratis Yoga Proeflessen

We nodigen je uit om gratis yogalessen te proberen uit het assortiment van ons yogacentrum.

 

Er zijn verschillende lessen voor ieders smaak! Kies er één of kom naar alle!

 

Door deel te nemen aan een proefles krijg je een speciaal aanbod voor toekomstige lessen en ding je mee voor een prijs uit de loterij, die we aan het eind van de dag houden en waarvan de winnaar per mail bericht krijgt.

 

We vragen je vriendelijk te registreren voor de lessen waaraan je wil deelnemen, omdat er een maximum aantal deelnemers is per les.

Stuur een mail naar info@trueyogaandessentials.com of vul onderstaand formulier in en geef aan bij welke les je aanwezig zou willen zijn.

 

De lessen worden in het engels gegeven, maar zijn makkelijk te volgen en de lerares verstaat nederlands.

 

Na iedere les is er gelegenheid voor vragen onder het genot van kopje thee.

10.00-11.00               Hatha Yoga: de klassieke yogastijl zoals deze bedacht is door wijze mannen in een ver verleden. De                                   les is voor alle niveaus en wordt aangepast en begeleid naar ieders behoefte en mogelijkheden.

 

12.00-13.00               Rug en heup flexibiliteit: Deze les is ontworpen voor degene die willen werken aan een betere                                         flexibiliteit in de rug en de heupen en tegelijk kracht willen opbouwen in botten en spierweefsel.                                       Deze les is geschikt voor alle niveaus.

 

14.00-15.00              Yin Yoga: Een meer mediterende stijl van yoga dat zich richt op de diepere weefsels terwijl we                                           tegelijkertijd de spieren rust geven. Deze les is geschikt voor alle niveaus.

We are inviting you for a free try out of the classes offered in our Center!

 

We are offering a variety of classes for all tastes! Choose one or come to all!

 

By participating in the try-out, you get a special price offer for future classes and you are entered to win a price from a ruffle that will be done at the end of the day! The winner will be notified through an email. 

 

We kindly ask that you register for the class/classes you would like to participate in, because there is a maximum amount of attendees per class. Send an email to info@trueyogaandessentials.com and specify the classes you are attending or register in the form below. 

 

The classes will be lead in English. 

 

After each class there will be time for questions and a nice cup of tea!

10.00-11.00        Hatha Yoga: The classical style of yoga as it was thought by the wise men in the ancient times. The                                    class is targeted for all levels and adjusted according each attendee's needs and capability.

 

12.00-13.00         Back and hip flexibility: The class is designed for those that would like to better the flexibility in the                                hips and back while still getting some strengthening of the muscular-skeletal system. Class is                                              appropriate for all levels.

 

14.00-15.00        Yin Yoga: A very meditative style of yoga that targets the deeper tissues while we fully relax the                                          muscles. This class is appropriate for all levels.

Asana of the Month

High Crescent Lunge

Anjaneyasana

 

The front foot of one leg is rooted on the earth with the knee directly above and tracking the ankle in a 90 degree angle. The back leg is straight, no bend in the knee, and the weight is distributed backwards onto the toes as the back heel pushes back and down towards the earth. The inner thighs scissor towards each other and the pelvis is tucked under with the ribcage lifted and the chin slightly tucked. The spine is long and extended. The heart is open. The arms are straight with no bend in the elbows or the wrists. The hands can be together or separated and facing each other with the fingers spread wide. Gaze is natural and forward.

 

Benefits:

 

Creates flexible strength. Promotes stability in the front and back of the torso. Tones the lower body. Stretches the chest, lungs, shoulders, arms, neck, belly, groins (psoas) and the muscles of the back. Strengthens and stretches the thighs, calves and ankles.


Essential Oil of the Month

Resin essential oils, such as frankincense or elemi, can help improve your body’s ability to protect and heal. They are also useful for relieving feelings of grief or emotional trauma. Use it regularly as a preventative measure or during painful times, like losing a loved one.

 

Try pairing with the following mudra that is believed to increase energy, boost immunity, and regulate breathing:

Balance and Wellness through Yoga and Ayurveda

Yoga and Ayurveda are two ancient practices that go hand in hand!

 

Come and learn how to utilise both to bring balance to your mind and body. You will leave confident to take charge of your wellbeing.

 

Here is a short overview of the workshop:

 

1. What is my Dosha?

2. How utilising Yoga can balance my Dosha?

3. Daily Ayurveda rituals to create balance.

4. Panchakarma - a monthly Ayurvedic detox ritual.

5. Bringing your home and surroundings into balance.

6. Eating according to the Ayurvedic season.

7. Lunch.

8. Yoga practice for the 3 Doshas.

9. Q&A in a format of consultation.

 

The Ayurveda part of the workshop will be thought by the Ayurveda wellness and beauty practitioner Renee Casselman who has studied Ayurveda in India under Dr. Kumar of Rishikesh and has decades of experience in practicing healing through Ayurveda and Ayurvedic food. She has also trained in Ayurvedic herbal medicine and pulse diagnosis at Ayurvedic Plus, Portland, Oregon.

 

The Yoga part will be taught by Dessi Georgieva who is 500RYT with Yoga Alliance and has over a decade of study and teaching experience of various modalities of yoga.

 

Tuition for this workshop is 35 euros. 

It includes the yoga practice, lunch and Ayurveda lecture and Q&A consultation.

Let go of Fear! Yin Yoga and Essential Oils!

Going deeper within ourselves to find the place where all healing begins!

 

Releasing deep stagnations, tensions, mental fog and opening the space for deep healing, clarity and renewal.

 

This practice targets the kidney meridians where we store our emotion of fear! By releasing and opening the connective tissues in those areas we release and let go of the accumulated negative emotions.

 

We also use specific essential oils, with therapeutic properties that target the release of fear as well.

 

This workshop will take place in the afternoon as to allow the evening and night sleep to keep with the deep work.

 

We work with the deeper tissues such as ligaments, tendons, bones while the muscles are fully relaxed. Regular practice is necessary to allow these tissues to become more flexible, healthier and restored.

 

Light snack and tea are provided after the workshop!

 

Tuition is 20 euros.

 

Final registration is on November 15.

 

Minimum amount of attendees is 5 and maximum is 15.

This practice targets the heart meridian where our true self resides! By releasing and opening the connective tissues in those areas we bring forth the characteristics of our true self: joy, spontaneity, love, compassion.

 

We use specific essential oils that target the same goal with their therapeutic properties.

 

This workshop will take place in the afternoon as to allow the evening and night sleep to keep with the deep work.

 

We work with the deeper tissues such as ligaments, tendons, bones while the muscles are fully relaxed. Regular practice is necessary to allow these tissues to become more flexible, healthier and restored.
